GLP-1 weight loss calculator
See what the big clinical trials averaged at your starting weight. Trial averages, not a promise.
Where these numbers come from
STEP 1 (New England Journal of Medicine, 2021): 1,961 adults with obesity or overweight and no diabetes, semaglutide 2.4 mg weekly for 68 weeks, average loss 14.9% vs 2.4% on placebo.
SURMOUNT-1 (New England Journal of Medicine, 2022): 2,539 adults with obesity or overweight and no diabetes, tirzepatide weekly for 72 weeks, average loss 15.0% (5 mg), 19.5% (10 mg) and 20.9% (15 mg) vs 3.1% on placebo.
Both trials paired the medicine with diet and exercise counseling. People with type 2 diabetes lost less on average in separate trials.

Maybe more, maybe less. These are trial averages; individual results ranged widely. Diabetes, dose reached, side effects, diet and how long you stay on the medicine all change the result.
